And so it begins

I bought my first guitar in the 90's.
It was a nylon string acoustic. I travelled into Brisbane on the train for and picked it up for $90.
I had such high hopes. I was going to write music for me and people were going to love it.
But it was hard, very hard. And not everyone is ready to take on the musical challenge when the rest of the world intrudes on your time.
I've had that guitar for decades. Sometimes it has sat in the corner till the dust was so thick I could write my name on it with my finger. Sometimes I played so much my fingers went green. And then the ideas would come, and they would be stored for that time in the future when I could do something with them.
2020 brought changes for everyone. For me it was a new guitar I'm not event worthy of looking at, let alone playing. But it also brought drive and intent. The desire to get the ideas out there and to find the people that would help.
This page and this blog can be a record of these ideas and the time and energy spent to get these songs out into the ether.
